Steamy

I've been reading about Steampunk on various book blogs. I had no idea what they were going on about. So I toddled off to Wiki for enlightenment. Imagine my surprise to find that I had read books and seen a movie in this sub-genre of fantasy fiction. I was surprised to find Steampunk had garnered its own classification.

Steampunk is one of those things that's hard to describe, but you recognize it when you see it. It's an odd make believe placed that is set in Victorian times. Sort of H.G. Wells meets Steve Wozniak meets Peter Jackson. If you've read The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen or seen the movie, you've experienced Steampunk.

It's even spawned inventions. This is a computer re-interpreted into steampunkness.

I would so totally buy this.
