Hangin Out

Went to the N.C. Zoo. Signs were plastered all over promoting a new display: Lemur Island. While I didn't go just for the Lemurs, I was looking forward to seeing the cute little things.

According to Wiki: "They are named after ghosts or spirits of Roman mythology due to the ghostly vocalizations, reflective eyes, and nocturnal habits."

I should have paid a little more attention to the nocturnal part. When we reached the large moat protected island, there was nary a lemur in sight. Probably off having a snooze.

But all was not lost. We did get to see lemurs before leaving the park.

They were just hanging around with some fanciful friends.
